Since we began running parenting groups in the community, parents’ evaluations of our workshops/courses indicate a high level of satisfaction:
“It reinforced the good I was doing and made me feel more positive about being an ‘at home’ mummy.”
“Thank you for the course. It has completely changed the way we operate as a family and has helped us all.”
“I learnt how to handle bad behaviour, how to encourage my children and how to correct the mistakes I’d already made.”

“The 14 people who attended a Time Out for Special Needs course still continue to meet. The school have invited us to go back in October to speak to new parents.”
“The quality of structure and planning in each unit and the humour of the texts and illustrations mean that, far from demanding the leadership of highly qualified experts with a brood of practically perfect children, Time Out for Parents could be run by anyone with the vision to see its potential.”

“40 dentists attended a professional training day on Special Needs. The organisers have recommended this to other Health Trusts.”
