Care for the Family is a national charity which aims to promote strong family life and to help those hurting because of family breakdown. We do this through events, resources, training and networks of befrienders.

What we do
1. Handbooks & Resources
We publish handbooks and resources to support parents, including material designed for parents whose children have special educational needs
2. Courses
We produce a range of courses for mums and dads of children of different ages and with various specific needs
3. Training
We provide training for parenting facilitators, multi-agency teams and others who work with parents in an employed or voluntary capacity
4. Licence Facilitators
We license facilitators in statutory and voluntary agencies, community groups, churches and schools to run our courses in their local communities
5. Parenting Workshops
We deliver workshops and courses for parents through contracts with local authorities and grant-making bodies
