Care for the Family is a national charity which aims to promote strong family life and to help those hurting because of family breakdown. We do this through events, resources, training and networks of befrienders.

Positive Parenting materials
Course Manuals
These manuals contain the essentials for running any of the wide range of Positive Parenting courses. To run any of our courses, you need to have a Positive Parenting Facilitator Licence.
These Licences are available to those who:
- are fully trained (TWP or WWP) to the National Occupational Standards for work with parents, OR
- have attended a Positive Parenting four-day facilitator training course (with or without accreditation), OR
- have completed a minimum of four days of training in group work skills and essential parenting theory provided by another approved training provider.

Parents' Handbooks
These are an integral part of the course experience for learners - something to take home with them and to refer to later as well for use during the course sessions. They also avoid the need for lots of handouts.
Ideal for use with parents who will never attend a course! Give them to parents you are working with, or use them as the basis for one-to-one work.
