
Care for the Family is a national charity which aims to promote strong family life and to help those hurting because of family breakdown. We do this through events, resources, training and networks of befrienders.

Working in nursery schools, primary schools, secondary schools, SEN establishments, community groups and churches across the central belt of Scotland, including Edinburgh, Central Scotland, Perth & Kinross and Glasgow.
Working in Partnership with Health, Education, Adult Learning/Community Education, ILC Family Support Teams, voluntary and statutory agencies.
Referrals from GPs, Schools (nursery, primary and secondary), Health Visitors, Social Services Family Teams, CAMHS, Home Start, Aberlour, Barnardo's, Children with Disabilities Teams and Family Centres + self-referrals.
Sessions for individual parents/caregivers are designed to meet the identified needs of the family. These can be tailored to the particular requirements of parents who have additional support needs.
